The Pines of Dresden
After a long day of enjoying the numerous amenities that Dresden has to offer, nothing beats coming home to the relaxed atmosphere cultivated by the new innkeepers Allison and Marin at the Pines of Dresden Bed and Breakfast. Located on a 2-acre oasis in the heart of Dresden Village, The Pines of Dresden is a short distance from the shops of Main Street, yet miles away from the stresses of the outside world.
The historic three-story restored Farmhouse was built in the early 1800's, making it the oldest residence in Dresden, but stocked with all the modern amenities. The Pines features the largest guest rooms in the Dresden Village limits, each with two comfy beds, one or more being queen-sized. Each oversized guest room is equipped with a private bathroom and shower, cable television, and wireless high-speed internet access.
Comfort and a relaxing good time are the hallmarks of your stay at The Pines of Dresden. Our large locale provides a number of outdoor and semi-outdoor areas for you to socialize with your party. Whether it is coffee on our screen porch, snacks in our open-air Tuscan patio or a lazy afternoon in the shaded jumbo hammock, you can be sure the comfort extends well beyond the walls of you room.
Breakfast is an important part of any B&B visit and The Pines has one of the best. Fresh coffee and fruit followed by any one of Marin's morning indulgences is an excellent way to start the day. Be it French Toast Soufflé with Praline topping, German Apple Pancake with Crème fraiche or any number of quiche and egg dishes, The Pines will make sure you have enough energy to start your day right, no matter what you have planned.
Marin and Allison are world travelers that after spending years overseas, have settled in this jewel of southeastern Ohio that is Dresden. Allison grew up in Oklahoma and caught the traveling bug while representing America as Miss Teen USA overseas. Marin is a native of Maui, Hawaii. (No, he doesn't surf.) Although he loves his home state, he fell in love with seeing new places while traveling through Europe at the age of 17. Combined they have visited more than 20 countries. Having a B&B gives them the opportunity to meet other travelers and swap stories.
They hope to make your stay in this area as memorable as possible and share with you what makes Dresden so special to them. The Pines of Dresden is your home away from home, a place to put your feet up and get comfortable; to unwind and get away from the rest of world while enjoying all that this region has to offer.
